Jim Giordano Joins the Board of the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) Southwest Chapter

November 4, 2019 -- Jim Giordano, a Principal in Nexant’s Chandler, Arizona office, was recently appointed as Treasurer on the board of AESP’s Southwest Chapter. This chapter covers Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Texas, and Oklahoma. Members are dedicated to improving the delivery and implementation of energy efficiency, energy management, and distributed renewable energy. This group consists of energy professionals, utility staff, energy consultants, energy service providers, and end users. While serving the Board, Jim will contribute ideas to the vision and strategy of AESP’s Southwest Chapter and be an active participant in member activities and financial decision-making.
Jim Giordano has more than 25 years experience in the field of energy management. He leads teams responsible for the design and delivery of Salt River Project’s highly successful commercial DSM program portfolio, and Southwest Gas’s residential and commercial DSM programs, and is Nexant’s primary point of contact for utilities in the Southwestern US. Jim is a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Demand Side Management Professional. He holds a BA in Computer Science from the University of Northern Iowa, and an MBA from Belmont University’s Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business in Nashville, TN.
