Lauren Casentini, CEO and founder of Resource Innovations, is an experienced entrepreneur in the energy efficiency industry. Her expansive expertise includes formerly representing a variety of stakeholders, including a major Investor Owned Utility and the largest energy efficiency consulting company in the US. Matt kok, vice president

Matt Kok joined Resource Innovations in 2016 after 18 years designing and managing implementation of residential, commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs and portfolios for more than 30 utility and government clients throughout the US. Karen Melzer is responsible for finance, accounting and HR services at Resource Innovations. Karen creates and manages accounting, human resource and payroll processes that succinctly evolve with the needs of the company. She leverages her CPA experience and background in accounting, consulting and software to deliver financial management from bill payment to board package. Karen is both a strategic business advisor and a hands-on leader. She ensures meaningful financial assessments, budget development, forecasting and a solid foundation for Resource Innovations.

With 15 years of energy efficiency experience, Corey Grace leads Resource Innovations’ operations in California. Her responsibilities include overseeing strategic planning for growth, executing business plans and managing clients and accounts across multiple utilities in California and the Midwest. To ensure thriving programs, Corey focuses on creating lasting community partnerships and discovering innovative ways to connect more people to energy-saving solutions. Prior to joining Resource Innovations, Corey was a Program Director at CLEAResult, leading a team of 26 people and managing 18 commercial utility programs across multiple markets. Today, Corey brings her extensive knowledge in energy efficiency financing, contracts, policy and client care to deliver exceptional results to our customers and communities.

Jake Felton is a Manager based in Madison, Wisconsin. He brings ten years of experience in project and program development, planning, design and implementation across the energy efficiency and civil infrastructure industries. Specific to energy efficiency and demand management, Jake has directly led efforts from the planning and design stage through implementation for a variety of commercial and residential programs, many of which included unique trade ally delivery models and specialized software solutions. Jake’s approach blends strategic, analytical and operational perspectives with an acute focus on action, results and innovative solutions for market-based delivery.

ashley palladino, program manager

Ashley Palladino brings ten years of experience managing energy efficiency programs and solutions, with an emphasis on residential programs in Illinois, including for ComEd. Ashley has developed and overseen a variety of program designs for multiple utilities, working closely with numerous trade ally networks, associations and key partners to support goal attainment. Ashley provides a deep understanding of energy efficiency portfolios, implementation strategies and the Illinois market. From her recent involvement in the Illinois Stakeholder Advisory Group which focused on the Future Energy Jobs Act implementation, she brings an understanding of the long-term strategy and potential for market and portfolio enhancements that will support achieving FEJA’s goals.

Atticus Doman provides the Resource Innovations team with ten years of technical and planning expertise, and energy efficiency program support in Illinois. With experience working across multiple utilities throughout the Midwest and into the Southeast regions, Atticus brings a unique perspective from supporting the operations of a variety of commercial and residential program designs. Atticus has also supported local trade ally outreach efforts on the ground in Illinois for both residential and commercial programs within the Nicor Gas portfolio.

Tisha Burnside is a Program Manager at Resource Innovations. She has a bold focus – combining her expertise in community outreach and LMI household engagement – to drive unparalleled energy efficiency adoption and results. Tisha’s 27 years of experience with not-for-profit agencies working with low income programs within Peoria County makes her uniquely positioned to advise our programs in Illinois. She builds lasting partnerships with local Community Action Agencies to reach people who are largely underserved yet may significantly benefit from resource reduction.

Sarah Schiller improves the efficiency of programs by effectively managing the use of data. She supports creative design, strategic development and implementation of resource efficiency by tracking data patterns and analyzing results. Her responsibilities also include managing Salesforce and measure and budget forecasting. Sarah is a certified Engineer in Training and Certified Energy Manager. She is a graduate of Columbia University, where she earned her BS in Earth and Environmental Engineering and is currently pursuing a MBA in Sustainability at Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco.

Danielle Wrobel is an energy efficiency analyst with a background in database structure and information management. She is passionate about driving innovation and facilitating procedural improvements, with a strong interest in supporting programs through business intelligence and project evaluation. Danielle has experience with user application design and development of integrated project management tools and processes. Prior to Resource Innovations, Danielle served as a data manager in the carbon trading sector at Tradewater, LLC. She received her MPP with Specialization in Energy and Environmental Policy, and BA in Public Policy with a Minor in Environmental Studies at University of Chicago.

Haley Keegan is a technical program analyst at Resource Innovations, with a passion for process improvement and program optimization. Haley is dedicated to increasing consumer adoption and access to energy efficiency assistance through scalable and effective programs and services, serving as a diligent problem-solver on her team with experience as a residential energy analyst in low- to moderate-income regions of Illinois. Haley has experience as a database administrator, bringing a strong focus in data quality, stakeholder management and work optimization through automated processes.

As a creative marketing and communication professional, Taylor Harris ensures Resource Innovations’ client deliverables advance understanding and results. Prior to Resource Innovations, she conceptualized, developed and implemented ad campaigns for 12 utility clients across the Pacific and Midwest region while working at Resource Solutions Group and CLEAResult. Her experience includes developing copy and strategy for articles, case studies, social media, web, direct mailers and radio ads for residential and commercial energy efficiency programs. Prior to Resource Solutions Group, Taylor researched and wrote for a travel publication. Taylor received her BA in Communications Studies Cum Laude from San Francisco State University.

With more than 10 years of experience delivering superior results in a variety of administrative roles, Jamika Welch makes certain that clients are supported in her role as Program Manager. Her main responsibilities include providing strategic process improvements to drive client goal attainment for Income Qualified programs. Jamika has deep professional expertise managing health and human service needs and providing reliable budget and cost control practices. She received her BS in Healthcare Management from Franklin University, Columbus, OH and is enrolled in an MBA program at Liberty University.

Kylie Ford is a Program Manager based in Chicago. With a focus on corporate strategy and project portfolios, she leverages her seven years in sustainability consulting to provide industry insights and vision. She coordinates a strong team and points her projects in the right direction with her clarity of sight and ability to align key stakeholders. Prior to Resource Innovations, Kylie managed and drove the corporate sustainability initiatives in over 90 facilities worldwide, for Communications Test Design Inc. She holds an MBA in Environmental Policy Design from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.

Mary Johnson is an Analyst in Illinois who provides a key role in project planning. With an extensive background in environmental law and policy, Mary offers critical subject matter expertise to projects, specifically in establishing and enhancing key reporting standards, to assure a program’s success. She accurately devises and supports budget tracking, financial forecasting and project evaluation and monitoring. Her responsibilities include identifying strategic opportunities to improve all phases of a project management lifecycle and collaborating with technical teams to contribute essential data support. Mary is a member of the Illinois Bar and holds a JD Degree from Vermont Law School.

Cheryl Wagner leads data management across client portfolios in Illinois. She determines policies and procedures for reporting and analysis, specific to program needs. She uses her comprehensive insights in energy efficiency operations to develop and implement evaluation methodologies that ensure complete and accurate reporting. Cheryl trains and manages a team of analysts who oversee data quality standards. Along with formulating, delivering and enhancing data practices, Cheryl has a keen eye for business strategy. She is a strategic advisor in all things related to energy efficiency program budgets and identifies how to keep budgets on track.
