Happy Engineers Week!

This week, we’re celebrating the expertise and acumen of our engineers around the world. The week-long celebration was started by the National Society of Professional Engineers, a group that dates back to 1934. They encourage engineers to reach out to grade schools and help students discover the exciting world of engineering through seeing how it applies in their daily lives. February 20th is Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, to help get more girls interested in the field. The NSPE also encourages engineers to share their stories and showcase their work.

At Nexant, our engineers are a very important part of our work with energy programs and grid management. We reached out to our engineers across the U.S. to find out what they’ve been working on and how they are making an impact. It was inspiring! Here’s what they had to say:
