With a passion for transforming the residential building sector, Dr. Meyer focuses on residential energy program development, implementation, and evaluation. His 20+ years experience in all facets of engineering and project management inform his work in develping innovative and effective programs which maximize the impact of energy efficiency investment. Dr. Meyer is primarily responsible for mananaging and improving builder and customer participation in utility programs designed to lower energy waste. He also delivers program specifics and green building science concepts to program stakeholders and participants. He has experience in the design and construction of super energy efficient and NET ZERO buildings. Dr. Meyer has consulted on the design and energy modeling of hundreds of residences in the western states. He has instructed groups of contractors, tradesmen, regulators, and university students in the methods and benefits of energy efficient building. Dr. Meyer is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Utah (275259-2202), Colorado (License No. PE.0050224), California (License No. 59102), and Florida (License No. 84463), a licensed building contractor, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
