Resource Innovations CEO Lauren Casentini Named to SEEA Board

Lauren Casentini, founder and CEO of Resource Innovations, appointed to the Board of Directors of the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA), brings her commitment to diversity and inclusion to foster equitable energy efficiency funding and partnerships.

Atlanta, GA and San Francisco, CA, December 20, 2021 – The Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA) recently appointed Resource Innovations founder and CEO, Lauren Casentini, to their Board of Directors. Ms. Casentini will serve a three-year term starting January 1, 2022.

Ms. Casentini is passionate about bringing diverse groups to the table to help energy efficiency funding reach all populations, fostering partnerships with local diverse businesses and community-based organizations to strengthen local communities and industries.

In addition to SEEA, Ms. Casentini is a co-founder and long-time board member of the California Efficiency and Demand Management Council and serves as the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, as well as a member of the board’s policy committee to shape and advocate for sound energy policy at the state level. She served as Vice Chair of the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance Board of Directors, which was instrumental in shaping energy policy and expanding energy efficiency work in the region. Ms. Casentini has focused on influencing state and national energy policy in a variety of ways throughout her career.

Fueled by her passion to maximize impacts on equity and climate change, she recently led Resource Innovations’ acquisition of Nexant, an industry partner with 20+ years of experience.
