Margie Gardner has dedicated over 30 years to stewarding Earth’s natural resources. She has led several organizations to catalyze transformational jumps in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and watershed restoration. Her experience includes strategic planning, energy policy, securing legislation, engaging stakeholders at all levels, as well as leading non-profit organizations. She founded the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance in 1997 and led the organization for more than a decade; ran the Bonneville Environmental Foundation for four years; and led the California Efficiency and Demand Management Council for six years. She now helps develop and lead market transformation efforts at Resource Innovations.
