Petroleum and Chemicals Expert George Intille Joins Nexant

WHITE PLAINS, NY – Nexant announced today that Dr. George Intille, a leading petroleum and chemicals industry expert, has joined the company’s Energy & Chemicals Consulting (E&CC) business unit as a principal consultant. He comes to Nexant from SRI Consulting (SRIC), where he was a senior vice president in charge of key SRIC petrochemical publications programs.

At Nexant, Dr. Intille will focus on growing client sales as well as increasing the depth of analysis for the company’s annual energy and chemical industry subscription programs and standard offerings. He has been involved in all aspects of the global petroleum and petrochemical processing industries for nearly four decades. He has successfully guided the development of several multi-million-dollar businesses in gas separation equipment, computer systems for refinery blending and scheduling, and chemical process manufacturing costing and pricing.  He has also directed several of the industry’s largest and most widely-read consulting service publications, including the Process Economics Program, Chemical Economics Handbook, Specialty Chemical Update Program, and World Petrochemicals.

In addition to SRIC, Dr. Intille has served in various management positions with a number of leading industry organizations, including Rimkus Consulting Group, Bonner & Moore Management Science, Pace Consultants, Chem Systems, Monsanto, and Atlantic Richfield. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and holds a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Syracuse University and a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
